No. Vaidio AI Vision connects to IP cameras over ONVIF or RTSP and integrates with more than 30 popular video management systems (VMS) and recorders (NVR), including Milestone XProtect, Genetec Security Center, Nx Witness, Hanwha Wisenet Wave, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Pelco and many others. Your cameras, recorders and network stay as they are; Turbo only checks each camera's resolution and mounting position against the features you want to use.

You choose the deployment shape: on-premise at your headquarters, or edge devices placed at each site; video data stays inside your infrastructure. For personal data protection, when the privacy feature is enabled, faces in search results, alerts and exported images are blurred; only accounts granted the permission can view the original images.

On a Vaidio Core server, each camera can run one or several features in parallel on the same video stream, for example face recognition, license plate reading and smoke and fire detection simultaneously on one gate camera. How many run together depends on the licenses activated and server capacity; Turbo sizes the configuration during the site survey. Edge devices run one feature per device.

The process has five steps: survey the system, choose the deployment (on-site server or edge devices), connect, tune the AI per camera position, then optimize operations. Deployment time depends on the number of cameras, sites and features to enable, and is confirmed after the survey.
